An History of over 500 years in a glass of Wine
Passion
Falling in love with the millenary history of Villa Oppi and its production tradition, Stefano Agazzi already several years ago, decided to follow in the footsteps of his father Giuseppe, relaunching the brand in a modern key and creating an exclusive line of wines with a high organoleptic profile and image.
Starting therefore from the local vineyards, partly native and partly of French origin planted by the Duchess Maria Luigia of Austria, and from the wines of the territory (Gutturnio, Malvasia, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bonarda, etc.) the passion brought Stefano and all company staff to expand the product portfolio and therefore to invest in more Italian production realities in order to obtain exclusive wines made following the image and character of Villa Oppi, from here partnerships were born with 15 prestigious wineries, located in the best Italian regions, which have made their vineyards available to create exclusive wines for Villa Oppi.
Villa Oppi wines are therefore characterized by the high organoleptic profile and the methods of harvesting, vinification and raising aimed at creating a high quality product suitable not only for connoisseurs but, in general, for all lovers of good wine.

From this project were born the characteristic Passiti Villa Oppi (Fiordirosa, Bonarosa, Black to Black and Crociato) which, unlike the more common passito wines of Southern Italy, are produced not by drying in the sun, but by hanging the bunches by hand. inside the cool rooms of the villa and letting them slowly dehydrate for about 4 months.

All Villa Oppi wines can be recognized by the exclusive recycled metal label that takes the shape of the castle.
The quality and superiority of Villa Oppi wines has been internationally recognized even in the most important international competitions, winning various medals and awards. Quality even more recognized thanks to important collaborations such as that with the Tonino Lamborghini brand and Momo Design.
